Are You in POPLINE®?

Comprehensive coverage and content quality have helped make POPLINE one of the most frequently used databases in developing countries. In order to continue to improve and expand this service, we need your help. We are asking you to:

SHARE the papers and publications you and your organization produce with POPLINE.

PARTICIPATE in our efforts to make reproductive health information readily available to researchers and decision makers.

COMMUNICATE your experience, knowledge, and expertise to colleagues around the world.

COLLABORATE with POPLINE to ensure the best possible coverage of population, family planning, and related health information.

Do you have documents (in any language) about family planning technology, family planning programs, fertility, or population law and policy? What about demography, AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases, maternal and child health, primary health care communication, population and the environment, environmental health, governance and democratization, or women in development?

These documents can be books and book chapters, technical reports, journal articles, papers presented at conferences, theses and dissertations, unpublished reports, newspaper reports, training manuals, or laws, bills, and court decisions.

Don't miss a unique opportunity to share your research, your projects, your data, and your opinions with the network of POPLINE users--your colleagues.

How Can You Share Publications with POPLINE®?

If possible, check to see if your publication is already in POPLINE before sending it. We need the entire text, not just the citation and abstract. Send or e-mail an electronic copy of the publication to:

E-Mail: POPLINE@jhuccp.org

If you have a large number of publications you would like to share with POPLINE, tell us about them. A list of the authors and titles in either print or electronic form would be best. Then we can check to see which documents are already in POPLINE. If making a list is a problem, describe the subject areas and the approximate number of publications in each.

We understand that photocopying and/or postal charges might be a problem for some organizations in developing countries. In certain cases we can reimburse you for these charges. Please note that payment approval must be negotiated before you send your publications to POPLINE.

We appreciate your help and look forward to your BEING A PART OF POPLINE.
